Grundy Walking Club

You’re invited to join the Grundy Walking Club! Participants meet at 1:00 pm on the second and fourth Tuesday (March, April, May & June) for a one-mile stroll around historic Bristol Borough.

We will meet inside the Library on the north side of the building (Youth area) before venturing outdoors. Remember to dress for the weather, wear comfortable shoes and sunscreen..

Escorted by a staff member, Club members will enjoy the scenery of the nearby Delaware River, and the benefits of fresh air and exercise in good company. We’ll be striding the very streets walked by industrialist and U.S. Senator Joseph R. Grundy; Michael Dougherty, a U.S. Medal of Honor winner; and Averell Harriman, a ship manufacturer and WWII U.S. diplomat.

A one-time 2024 signed waiver of participation is required to walk during these events. The waiver is available at each meeting date.
