Be a Physicist!

The Be a Physicist! program invites children to take on the role of scientists as they investigate the properties of different forms of energy, create systems to control the transfer of energy, and use the principles of physics to solve real-world problems. The activities encourage students to practice scientific techniques and explore the following big ideas:

  • Energy comes in different forms, like heat, light, sound, and motion. Energy can change from one form into another.
  • Energy can move from place to place or transfer from one object to another.
  • Scientists use models to test ideas and understand complicated systems.

This program will be held at Grundy Library on Friday, August 4th, and Friday, August 11th at 10:00 am.  Students who register MUST attend both sessions.

UPDATE: Registration will be available on July 7, 2023.
