Get ready to splash your summer with color, creativity, and stories that brighten your world. Our Summer Reading Program is here, and we’re starting the season off with a vibrant celebration for all ages!

Join us for our Kickoff Event: Color the Park
Friday, June 20, from 6-8 PM
We’re teaming up with the Grundy Museum to bring you an evening full of hands-on crafts, bubbles, and light refreshments. Cheese Dawgz will be on-site serving up their famous hot dogs, so come hungry! Bring the whole family and help us paint our park with joy as we launch a summer filled with reading adventures.

What is Summer Reading Program?
From June 20 through August 16, readers of all ages are invited to join our Summer Reading Program, themed Color Our World. Every book you read adds a new splash of color to your summer—whether it’s a bold graphic novel, a cozy mystery, or a laugh-out-loud audiobook.

How it works:

  • Youth (0-11) and Teens (12-18) will turn in a raffle ticket for each book they read or listen to. You’ll get to choose which prize to enter for, with age-appropriate options available.
  • Adults will track their reading using monthly bookmarks. Each complete book equals one entry. We’ll have monthly drawings, plus a grand prize for the most books read over the summer.

There’s no limit, so go ahead—read as much as you want and color your summer your way!
