Book Sale
We are hosting our 2nd Annual Grundy Library Book Sale! Join us on Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 10am-4pm in the Library’s Snyder Room.
Donation Dates: Wednesday, May 20 to Saturday, June 13
Donations must be brought into the library during normal business hours ONLY during this time. Please do not place donation into the book drop.
Donation Guidelines
Accepted
- Gently used books in both fiction and non-fiction (all ages)
- DVDs and music CDs without scratches and in playable condition
Not Accepted
- Damaged, moldy, or musty items
- Encyclopedias, textbooks, reference materials
- VHS or cassette tapes
- Magazines
- Items with heavy markings, missing pages, etc.
Donation Requirements
- Max: 2 boxes or bags per donor (unless arranged in advance)
- Tax receipts available on request (value not assigned)
- Use sturdy bags or boxes for drop-offs
- Donations become library property and may be donated, recycled, or stored for future events if space allows
- All sale proceeds benefit the Grundy Library
Volunteer Opportunities
Whether you love organizing, chatting with fellow book lovers, or just want to support the library in a hands-on way, we’d love to have you on board!
Volunteer tasks include:
- Sorting and organizing donated books
- Helping set up and break down the sale
- Assisting guests during the event
