Grundy Library’s Book Bike Naming Contest
Grundy Library is getting a book bike! We are excited to hit the road and bring library services to local parks, community events, school, daycares, and more. Manufactured by Haley Tricycles of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (haleytricycles.com), the tricycle is tentatively scheduled for a Fall 2022 delivery.
This new service needs a name and we want your ideas!! We are holding a naming contest for the book bike and here’s how you can get involved. Persons interested in participating can submit their bike name suggestion(s) via the online form, or at any in-person Library event (ex. festivals, Story Time, etc.) during the contest period. The name of the book bike will be selected by staff from among all the submitted bike names; the person who suggests the winning name will receive a $50.00 gift card to Cesare’s Ristorante in Bristol Borough. The new book bike name will be revealed during the Library’s Webb Space Telescope event on Saturday, October 1, 2022 (6-8 PM).
