“We commend Megan’s positive impact on both our team and the community, and for the dedication and enthusiasm she presents as a leader. With Megan leading library services, our future looks very promising,” Eugene J. Williams, the Executive Director of the Grundy Foundation, expressed.
Megan recently earned a Master of Library and Information Science from Pennsylvania Western University. She is an active member of the Pennsylvania Library Association and the American Library Association. Her contributions there inspired colleagues across the region and the nation, positioning Grundy Library as a vital, responsive resource for Bristol Borough and beyond.
“Since last year, we have seen a surge in library usage, with a 50 percent increase in participation of our Summer Reading Program across all ages alone. As we seek to innovate and expand our programs, I look forward to continuing the library’s mission and legacy as a vibrant, welcoming hub. I sincerely thank everyone who donated to our upcoming Book Sale, which is taking place on September 27,” Megan Marks, the newly appointed director of the Grundy Library, said.
All proceeds from the first annual Book Sale will support the Grundy Library’s education programs.
