March is an exciting month at Grundy Library, with a wide range of STEM programs available for all ages. Whether you’re interested in coding, physics, or engineering, you’re sure to find a program that sparks your curiosity. Curiosity Lab
This program is for school age children where we explore the universe and all the amazing science and theories. This month we meet March 1 & 29.
- March 1- Non-Newtonian fluids
- March 29- Circuits & Electricity
Hack-a-Thon
This program is for ages 8-88. Using Fiero Code (free to use at Grundy Library), we will spend 1.5 hours coding Fiero’s Winter Contest project “Arctic Adventure.”
Prizes: 2 $25 Visa gifts cards will be given out, one for youth 8-18 and one for adults 18+.
How do you win? Write code, whoever has the most coding lines that work- wins!

STEM after Dark: Physics
This program is for teens and adults. We will discover, learn, and gain a deeper appreciation for the mysteries of our world.

We will be exploring how energy works.
Family STEM Night: Engineering
This program is for Pre-K-Grade 5. We will focus on the joy and fun of engineering. There will be multiple stations with different materials to build fun and fabulously unique engineering projects. We hope to see you at Family STEM Night!
