2024 STEM Programming at Grundy Library

If you want to learn more about STEM and have a blast while learning, join us at the Grundy Library as we have STEM opportunities galore! We have a few highlights for you below, but you will want to check out our Events calendar for a full listing.

Code Club

Join Code Club at Grundy Library. These sessions run in person at Grundy Library using Fiero Code. The software is geared for kids ages 8-18 years, but will also be available to adult learners. Participants will be guided through a learning journey that includes project- and story-based learning, incorporating many fun gamification elements. 

This is a drop-in program for those in grades 3-adult.

STEM Saturdays

Welcome to STEM Saturdays at the Library – a monthly program that brings the thrill of science, technology, engineering, and math to your local library! Each month, kids can dive into hands-on activities that explore the wonderful world of STEM.

This is a drop-in program for youth in grades 2-8. 

Lego Club

Calling all Lego enthusiasts! Join us for our monthly Lego club at the library, where you can build, create, and imagine endless possibilities. We’ll provide the Legos, you bring the ideas. Together, we’ll construct towering towers, fantastical creatures, and anything else your mind can dream up. This club is perfect for kids who love to build and want to make new friends who share their passion for Legos.

This drop-in program is for elementary-age children.

Family STEM Nights

Family STEM Night at Grundy Library offers a fun and educational experience for families to explore various STEM topics together. From the wonders of space and the mysteries of botany to the chilly world of winter science, each night is a new adventure in learning. Through hands-on activities, children and adults can discover the joys of science, technology, engineering, and math.

This drop-in program is for families with children 4 and up.
