We’re excited to feature Patricia Buchanan as the Artists of Bristol (AOB) Artist of the Month at the Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library!

From April 13 to May 15, patrons can explore a vibrant collection of mosaic artwork filled with color, texture, and light. Whether you’re visiting for a program or just passing through, we invite you to take a moment to experience her work.

About the Artist

Patricia Buchanan has studied art throughout her life and is a member of the Artists of Bristol and the Mosaic Society of Philadelphia. She began working in mosaics in 2008 at Fleisher Memorial Art School and has since continued her training with professional artists.

Locally, she has contributed to community projects, including the mosaic benches outside the Grundy Library and the Grundy Clock Tower mosaic.

About the Artwork

This collection highlights Patricia’s glass mosaics, showcasing her love of light, reflection, and intricate design, with surfaces that shimmer and shift with the light.
