Reading Road Trip: Read Across the U.S.A.

Grundy Library’s 2026 Adult Summer Reading Challenge

Take a Reading Road Trip across the U.S.A.! Read books that take place in various states & territories, mark off each location on your map reading log and color in the corresponding book. Each book read is an entry into a prize drawing. The more ground you cover, the more entries you have!

Pick up your reading log at the Grundy Library, and begin your coast-to-coast reading journey!

Participants will have the opportunity to win one of three gift cards to local businesses.

The road-tripper who has covered the most area/read the most books at the end of the summer will receive a grand prize.

The challenge begins on June 1, 2026 and ends on September 1, 2026.

Prizes will be drawn on September 1, 2026.

Winners need to pick up their prizes by September 15, 2026 or we will re-draw.

If a book takes place in multiple states/territories, it can count for as many locations as are represented in the book.

Questions? Call (215) 788-7891 or email info@grundylibrary.org.
